Will my online/mobile banking be impacted?
After close of business on May 13, your current Manson State Bank online/mobile banking applications will no longer be updated. You will have access to your MSB account history and statements for a limited amount of time by logging into your Manson State Bank internet banking account HERE, however to view transactions that take place after May 13, you will need to sign up for internet banking through Security Savings Bank. To get started with Security Savings Bank internet banking platform, please click HERE to enroll. This history from your Manson State Bank online account will not be available on our platform. However, if you have any questions regarding previous transactions on your account or need a copy of a previous statement, please stop in the Manson branch and the staff will be happy to help you. Also, please be sure to download our mobile banking app as well for easy access to your account from any mobile device.
Will I continue to work with the same staff at the Manson location?
Yes. You wil be greeted by the same staff you know and trust!
Will the bank hours change?
Yes, Effective Monday, May 16th, the new bank hours are as follows:
Lobby Hours: Mon.-Thurs.: 8 a.m – 3:30 p.m.
Fri.: 8 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Drive-thru Hours: Mon.-Thurs.: 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Fri.: 8 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Will I be able to access my account at any Security Savings Bank?
Yes, by having an account with Security Savings Bank, you may conduct business at any of 8 locations. Find out more about our locations here.
WIll this change my account(s) and the way I conduct my banking?
You can still conduct your banking in the same manner you do today. Your accounts with Security Savings Bank have been set up with the same terms and conditions, service charges, and interest rates that you had with Manson State Bank. Will my account or routing number change?
The majority of account numbers will stay the same. However, there are just a few exceptions. These select customers will be notified of the change to their account number after the merger.
Your new routing number is now 073918077.
Will I need to get new checks and deposit slips for my account?
No, You can continue to use the checks and deposit slips you already have. However, when it is time to reorder checks, you will want to order checks with your new routing number included. For those select customers that we notify of an account number change, your current checks and deposit slips will work until we provide you with new checks for your new account number.
Will my debit card still work?
Yes, your current debit card will continue to work. When your current card expires, you will be issued a new Security Savings Bank debit card with chip technology.
What happens to the transfer/sweeps I have established between my accounts?
All of your transfer/sweeps will continue to function as they do today; no action is required on your part.
